Press release 2020-03-17

The ongoing restrictions implemented to limit the spread of COVID-19 causes the Svaneholm Open – ATP Champions Tour 2020 to be moved to 2021

Due to the ongoing health and safety issues surrounding the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), ATP Champions Tour, 3RS Group and Svaneholm Open & Event AB have jointly decided to move forward this year’s edition of Svaneholm Open.

In cooperation with the IMG, ATP and ATP Champions Tour, the event will take place June 30 to July 3, 2021.

If the COVID-19 situation improves, ATP Champions Tour, 3RS Group and Svaneholm Open & Event AB are investigating the possibility of hosting an exhibition match at Svaneholm castle on June 27, 2020. The health and safety of everyone involved in the event remains Svaneholm Open’s highest priority, so details of this possible match will be provided as more information is known about the spread of the virus.

At the same time, we would like to announce that the long-term work of the 3RS Group with No Excuse Tennis Academy, 3RS Property and the development of international tennis tournaments for both ladies and gentlemen are making great progress and are not affected by the current situation.
